"GHIMA celebrating 75 Years, Past, Present & Future" is our theme for our 2010 GHIMA Annual Meeting and Exhibits on August 4-6, 2010 at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel, Atlanta, GA.

GHIMA would like to extend an invitation to you to actively participate at the meeting by exhibiting your product or service. In addition, we invite you to sponsor a GHIMA event during the meeting.

We are excited about our 2010 Annual Meeting and Exhibits and look forward to an educational and dynamic event for both our members and exhibitors. An important part of the meeting is the exhibit time we schedule for our members. The exhibits are structured to provide maximum traffic flow and opportunity for contacts with the attending members.

Building on the success from previous meetings, exhibits will be held on the days with highest meeting attendance to increase your exposure to attendees. We are excited to be meeting at the beautiful Renaissance Waverly Hotel. In addition, the host hotel, The Renaissance Waverly Hotel, is a full-service upscale hotel that is close to premier shopping, dinning and entertainment.

Exhibitor Overview

Meeting Theme

This year’s meeting theme is “GHIMA – Celebrating 75 Years, Past, Present & Future”.  Join us as we celebrate 75 years of GHIMA.  You are welcome to decorate your exhibit booth in any of the past years and bring back those early years of the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, and on to the 2000’s.  We will be having lots of fun in bringing back those early year memories.

Expected Audience

HIM professionals representing HIM management, coding, transcription, and Privacy and Security Officers, professionals in all health care settings such as: hospitals, consulting firms, ambulatory care centers, extended care facilities; hospices, clinics, insurance companies, HMO’s, government agencies and physicians offices will be attending this meeting.

Booth Information

All booths are 6 foot draped tables with two chairs and wastebasket. Electricity is included in the booth fee. If needed, please use the electrical form. Internet access is available. You may order a voice or dedicated line. (Price upon request)

Booth fee includes two tickets for Thursday Luncheon. Please contact the GHIMA Central Office if additional tickets are needed.

Booth Rates

Booths are $725.00 per booth on or before July 1, 2010.  After this time, the booth rate is $750.00.

Networking Opportunities

We have listened to your request to have less days of exhibits, but more time with the attendees, therefore we have decided to have the exhibit setup time, beginning Thursday, August 5, 2010, at 7:00 AM. Or if you prefer you may set up after 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, August 4, 2010.  By setting up on Wednesday, you will have the Wednesday evening to entertain any of your clients, if you wish. In addition, confirmed exhibitors are invited to submit a speaking proposal to the Annual Meeting Program Chairperson. Visit our website for details on these speaking opportunities.

Exhibitor Time

The Exhibit Hall will be open on Thursday 10:00-11:00 am, 3:30-4:30 pm and Friday 10:00-11:00 am.

Thursday Business Luncheon

Each exhibitor booth will receive 2 complementary lunch tickets to the Thursday Business Luncheon. If additional tickets are needed, please contact the Central Office Coordinator.

Dedicated Exhibit Management

We recognize how important open communication and vendor relationships are for a successful meeting. There will be dedicated management to oversee all exhibit arrangements and will provide the utmost attention to detail, addressing any concerns to ensure a successful meeting experience.

Exhibit and Member Activity

The member and exhibitors will have an opportunity to participate in an activity that will give the members the opportunity to learn about your product and services your company provides.

Meeting Attendance and CEs

Your exhibitor badge entitles you to sit in on any of the educational sessions at no additional charge.

Attendee Roster

Exhibitors will receive a  listing of pre-registrant information to assist with pre-show marketing.

Program Book

All exhibitors will have their company name and product description listed in the Meeting Program Book. Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors will have their company name and product description posted on the GHIMA website. Please see Sponsorship section for more information.

Best of Show

A “Best of Show” award will be presented to the exhibitor with the most appealing booth.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships are a great way to reinforce your company’s presence and receive additional exposure at the meeting, on GHIMA's website and in program materials.

Booth Preferences

Booth confirmations are made on a first-come first served basis, with a fully paid registration & completed contract.

Terms

Full payment must accompany all complete and signed registrations. Registration will not be processed and no booth guaranteed until contract and payment are both received.

Shipping

Please refer to the Exhibit Order Form.  Inbound shipping should be received at the hotel no more than three days (3) prior to the meeting.

Outbound Shipping

It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to BOX, PACK and TAPE packages.  Exhibitors are also responsible for labeling each shipment and furnishing shipping information.
